WHAT IS COMPLETE SYSTEM ANALYSIS, YOU ASK?
The ductwork that carries the air from the heat or cool source is the lifeblood of your comfort system. Just like the human body, your ductwork needs to be able to circulate enough air to its extremities, like the blood carries oxygen to your brain and muscles. Without proper air pressure, like your heart with high blood pressure, it puts strain on the blower in your air handler or furnace.
In today’s state-of-the-art home heating and AC systems, proper airflow CFM (Cubic Feet Per Minute) is super critical. All SEER and efficiency ratings are based on having the required amount of CFM flowing through the equipment based on BTU’s (British Thermal Unit). Simply changing the equipment is not a guarantee that you will be getting the savings from a higher efficiency unit. We must make sure your new system can breathe properly and perform at its best for years to come.
Our Comfort Advisors will complete a few tests to see how your duct system is performing and then prescribe a remedy if one shall be needed.
THE FOLLOWING TESTS WILL BE COMPLETED:
- Analyze the particulate in your air inside the home
- Perform Industry Standard ACCA Manual J heat loss/gain calculation for proper sizing of equipment
- Measure positive pressure in supply duct and negative pressure in return duct
- Measure actual CFM output of duct system
- Receive a script, from Comfort Pro, Inc., for an efficient and healthy home.
